During my recent stay at a beautiful eco-lodge nestled within the Tilaran mountain range, I experienced a delightful blend of traditional and modern hospitality. The property is strategically located near the centre of Santa Elena, offering easy access to local shops, bars, and restaurants, whilst providing an immersive experience in nature. The cozy rustic cabin I was allocated, perched atop a steep climb, provided stunning views of the surrounding forest. Each morning, I awakened to the symphony of birds, insects, and playful monkeys outside my panoramic window-an authentic invitation to the vibrant wildlife of Costa Rica. The lodge staff were incredibly accommodating, exemplified by Luís at reception, who assisted in transferring our bags prior to check-in. Breakfast was served at a neighbouring hotel, featuring a pleasant buffet with scenic views-a great way to start the day. This lodge is an inviting sanctuary for nature lovers, allowing for a restful yet active retreat amidst the mesmerizing cloud forest. I encourage fellow travelers seeking an ethical wildlife experience to consider this property for their adventures.
